Hi Gary,
getControl will get the combo, but I am not interested in
testing the combo. I need to set structured selections (which cannot be
done on a combo). I need to test the whole viewer including selection
responses to setting structured selections.

Thanks,
abhishek

Hi,
I need to figure out a way to test a ComboViewer using abbot. I tried
retrieving the combo but there seems to be no way to actually test the
whole viewer as it is with a Structured Selection. Can anyone here point
out if they have any insights?

Thanks,
abhi

It seems that calling JTableTester.valueToString() requires
costello.jar to be on the classpath. Not a major problem, but I
suppose that that is not the way it was meant to be? Strangely enough,
abbot.jar has an empty package abbot.scripts, at least that is what
Eclipse shows.

Well, getControl() will get you the Combo/CCombo, right? Seems like I
do
not understand the question.
