[Jmagick] How to reduce the size of the image?

When I resize the image using JMagick, the out put image's size (in KB) more
than what i was expecting it to be. In other words is there anyway i can
compress the image that is more than 100KB size to some where around 30KB
during image resizing using JMagick?
