Yeah it's sad to see top notch people leave when things are really heating up. But looking at the bright side a little bit, maybe these changes as bad as they are will allow to bring in some fresh new blood, and fresh new perspective to the whole Java Client space. Sometimes even very sharp people can get too comfortable, and too set in their ways of thinking that they no longer challenge the conventional wisdom, and business as usual mindset, which can to certain extent hamper innovation. Not to imply in any way though that Hans, or Chet were like that. So hopefully Sun will be able to quickly replace the lost talent with equally good ones who will bring client Java to its full potential.
